Cog

"Cog" (description above) and "Double Bridge" (2011. Metal and timber stools, cable ties, 170 x 310 x 310cm) were both created during an artist's residency at Victoria University's city campus in January, 2011. The availability of classroom furniture - the large number of metal and timber stools - and the absence of the students themselves (the residency was run during the end-of-year  holidays) allowed play and assembly of the stools into works which otherwise could not have  been realised.
