The "Lattice" series was exhibited as part of Tim Craker's 2010 solo exhibition Ten-Part Net Trap at Jackman Gallery in St Kilda.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
The "Lattice" series explores patterns and their irregularities.
Contrasts between geometric (though imperfect) patterns overlaid on free-form grounds are further developed by tonal variations and delineation of patterns-within-the-pattern, and heightened by colour relationships made across the painting.
The initial reading of the painting’s spatial field is disrupted and changeable.
