Shoal

"Shoal" was created from the ring-pulls from aluminium cans which I collected over several years in Malaysia. Having sat on a shelf in my studio since I returned to Australia with a bag of them in my luggage, they finally communicated to me what they could - and should be allowed to - do: "Shoal" is the result.  

"Shoal" was exhibited in the 20-year anniversary exhibition  of Tacit Galleries, at the beginning of 2020, for which each canvas, supplied by the gallery to invited artists, was 20 x 20 inches in size.
